In Details : I have insomnia, please help. I have trouble sleeping at night. What can I do possibly to get good sleep at night.

Get into a stress free routine. If your work is stressful think of ways to reduce that. Try to get off work same time each day. After that try to do some meditation and pranayama or just rest in savasana. Keep your bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Stop watching TV in bedroom. Donot take untimely naps after coming from work. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. You can take warm milk, Chamomile or herbal tea along with reading soothing novels, take a warm bath and spray lavender scent.
