Your skin produces excess oil which makes the skin to get clogged with debris and other matter resulting in blackheads, pimples, zits, bumps and dark spots.

Steps to take care of your oily skin
1. Very good skin care Routine
2. Eat a Diet High in Antioxidants and Essential Fatty Acids
3. Avoid fatty foods
4. Drink Plenty of Water
5. Drink less coffee
6. Exercise at least 3 times a week

Skin care regime

• Wash your face with lukewarm water. It helps to wash oil better than cold water
• Choose the right cleanser. Try to avoid soaps or cleansers which has added moisturizers.
• If you have acne, choose an antibacterial soap formulated with benzoyl peroxide or triclosan which stops acne causing bacteria
• Use a liquid face wash that contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), such as citric acid, lactic acid, or glycolic acid. The AHAs work in several ways, helping to slough off dead skin cells, reduce the oil in your pores, and combat infection.

1. Clay masks or mud masks like Multanu mitti musks reduce greasiness and help tone your skin and draw out impurities. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes or until the clay is dry, then rinse it off.

2. Make a mixture of egg whites and 1 teaspoon of honey and add some flour to it to make paste. Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the eye area. (Be careful not to ingest any of the egg mixture.) Let it dry for about ten minutes, then wash it off with warm water.

3. Mash some mango and add some Lemon juice. Make a paste and apply this pack on your face and leave for 10-15 minutes. Wash with warm water. This cleans up the face and unclogs the pores and will leave your skin dry and supple.
